Stellantis Goes Wide And Deep

Stellantis just dropped a roadmap. It covers everything. From cheap city runabouts to track-ready muscle, they have names. By 2030 the US showroom changes completely. Eleven new badges. Twelve facelifts.

The goal is aggressive. Cover ninety percent of the market segments. Up from sixty. And cut costs while doing it. 📉

Chrysler Finally Wakes Up

The brand has been asleep for a while. Now it focuses on utility. Reliability. Comfort.

The Pacifica gets updated in 2027. But the big news is three new SUVs. The first is the Airflow. Mid-size. Built on the STLA One platform. Don’t expect a pure EV here. Hybrids are the likely reality, even if the 2022 concept hinted otherwise.

Then there are two small cars. The Arrow and Arrow Cross. These come from Europe. They will sit below thirty thousand dollars. That’s the target. Affordable entry. Various powertrains will be available. One looks like a sedan. The other a boxy SUV. Simple enough.

Dodge Gets Personal

Dodge is playing a different game. Performance matters most here.

The Hornet gets replaced. Or rather, evolved. It’s coming back as the GLH. An old name from the 80s Omni hatchback. It meant “Goes Like Hell.” Fitting, then and now. Tim Kuniskis calls it the correct version of the Hornet. It slots below the Durango. It will get an SRT package. Naturally.

But wait. There is a mid-size coupe coming. Looks like muscle. Has a big wing. Also getting SRT treatment.

The Durango is getting refreshed too. So is the Charger.

Is it a coincidence that SRT appears everywhere? Or is the strategy clear?

Ram Expands Territory

Two pickups arriving in 2028.The compact Rampage joins from South America. The mid-size Dakota returns to North America. The Dakota gets a performance SRT trim. Yes, a performance Ram pickup.

But they are also making a full-size SUV. It is called the Ramcharger. Also getting the SRT badge.

That isn’t all. An all-new light-duty model is coming. A range-extended variant. A heavy-duty update. Plus a full-size commercial van. Ram is trying to occupy every size bucket. 🛻

Jeep Goes Hard

Off-road focus remains sharp. Jeep plans a Wrangler Scrambler. Likely a two-door truck. Short wheelbase. Rugged.

Both the Scrambler and the Grand Cherokee will get SRT versions. Fast trucks and fast SUVs. Jeep also updates the Compass. The Grand Cherokee gets tweaks. So does the Wagoneer. And the Recon might get an internal combustion option after all.

The Numbers Game

Stellantis wants sales volume to jump thirty-five percent in the US.

To make that happen, prices must drop. By 2030 two models will start under thirty grand. Nine more under forty thousand.

The plan is set. The cars are named. The question remains whether the assembly lines can keep up with the hype.

And honestly. Who cares about the strategy deck when there is a winged coupe on the way? Just build it. 🏎️
