BMW has marked the end of one of its fastest SUVs with a limited-edition Alpina XB7. The 2026 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur is a carefully curated version of the existing XB7, built exclusively for buyers in the US and Canada, marking the last of its kind before full integration within BMW. Only 120 units will be produced, each in a fixed specification with either a Frozen Alpina Green or Frozen Alpina Blue exterior.
Final Edition Details
The XB7 Manufaktur distinguishes itself with matte finishes complemented by high-gloss black Shadowline accents and substantial 23-inch forged 20-spoke wheels. Subtle exterior cues include a Manufaktur badge on the rear and thin black accent lines extending along the body. The interior is wrapped in Tartufo Full Merino leather with Alpina Walnut Nature Black trim, and features embroidered Alpina scripts on the headrests, branded floor mats, and a plaque indicating its exclusivity: “1 of 120.”
Luxury and Performance
The XB7 Manufaktur maintains the standard model’s mechanical setup, including BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, producing 631 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, while air suspension with adjustable ride height and rear axle steering enhance handling for its size. Each unit includes handmade leather carry bags and plush captain’s chairs designed for long-distance comfort.
The XB7 Manufaktur represents the peak of Alpina’s independent luxury SUV design before its full integration into BMW. This final edition serves as a collector’s item, blending performance with exclusivity in a limited production run.
The XB7 Manufaktur is set to conclude production at BMW’s South Carolina plant, making it the last of its kind. This move solidifies BMW’s complete ownership of Alpina, integrating its design language into future models while ending an era of independent tuning and customization.
