Nissan has announced pricing for the 2026 Rogue Hybrid, positioning it competitively in the plug-in SUV market with a starting price just under $50,000. The vehicle, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid, will be available in two trim levels: SL and Platinum.
Trim Levels and Pricing
The base SL trim begins at $47,485, while the higher-spec Platinum model starts at $51,485. Both trims come standard with all-wheel drive and offer an estimated electric-only range of up to 38 miles on a full charge. This makes it a viable option for daily commutes and short trips without gasoline.
Standard Features
Regardless of trim, the 2026 Rogue Hybrid includes a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless phone mirroring. The Platinum trim upgrades the experience with leather upholstery, a 10-inch head-up display, a premium Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and heated rear seats.
Market Positioning and Future Plans
Nissan’s pricing strategy puts the Rogue Hybrid slightly below its Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid counterpart. The 2025 Outlander Hybrid ranged from $42,145 to $53,355, indicating Nissan aims for a competitive edge in the PHEV segment.
However, the current Rogue Hybrid is a short-term solution. Nissan plans to introduce a next-generation model with its own series-hybrid ePower system as a 2027 model later this year. This future version is expected to expand the Rogue Hybrid lineup with more trim options and a wider price range.
