Ferrari’s HC25: A Glimpse Ahead

Ferrari just showed off the HC25. A one-off. For the lucky few who matter. And maybe for those of us who watch closely. It might actually hint at what comes next for the mid-engined crew.

Based on an F8 Spider. Designed by boss Flavio Manzoni. They call it “bold, forward-looking.”

Here’s the thing. It sits right between two eras. The F8 was the last mid-V8 without hybrid help. Clean. Pure. Then came the F80 and the 12Cilindри.

This car? It’s the bridge.

“bridges the gap between the F8 and its latest flagships”

Look at it. Geometric forms everywhere. Glossy black contrasts. The midsection has this band running across it. Shows off the engine. Gives a sense of momentum. Like an arrow pointing back at the haunches. Even the door handles are milled aluminum. Sharp.

Then the eyes. New tech means thinner lenses. But it’s the DRLs that sting. Fang-like. First Ferrari to pull this. Aggressive. Is that a threat?

Inside gets more subdued. Grey textile does most of the work. Yellow stitching cuts through the calm. Graphics too. A little pop in a sea of matte.

You can see it this weekend. Circuit of the Americas. Texas.

Racing Days are always a mess of exhaust smoke and money. This car sits there, silent, waiting to prove that the design language isn’t just evolving.

It’s sharpening.
